The System Administrator provides support to the Defense Health Agency (DHA) at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. This position analyzes, validates, implements, maintains, and configures current services and tools (examples include Active Directory (AD), System Center Operations Manager, Quest Active Roles Server (ARS ), Dell Quest maintenance tools) to minimize negative impacts to performance and scalability. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies into daily functions, including:

Analyzes, validates, implements, maintains, and configures current services and tools (examples include Active Directory (AD), System Center Operations Manager, Quest Active Roles Server (ARS ), Dell Quest maintenance tools) to minimize negative impacts to performance and scalability. Works with other organizations and MTFs to coordinate operations and support of directory services across the enterprise. Sustains and provides advanced enterprise-level support for AD services and functions. Documents technical solutions as required. Utilizes available tools, such as Quest Suite of Tools, to manage schema extensions, sites and services, domains and trusts, Group Policy Objects (GPO) administration and Organizational Unit (OU) administration. Supports and maintains Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) architecture to provide authentication, synchronization, user provisioning, and authorization services for AD user accounts. Validates DAR solutions on desktops and laptops for adherence with DHA and DoD regulations and policies. Supports deployment and maintenance of new government approved DAR solutions as they become available. Manages and monitors DAR services to ensure systems and all supported devices are updated. Creates, deploys, upgrades, and installs DAR client packages, files, and policies in accordance to maintenance window policies. Provides DAR status reports. Collaborates and supports future DAR projects initiated by DHA and DoD. Using MS SCOM, monitors system uptime availability and maintains the framework for new and existing applications, servers, and services that require monitoring at the enterprise level. Analyzes DHA current enterprise system monitoring implementation and provide a status report before and after remediation actions engineered and executed. Customizes enterprise monitoring rules, alerting, and reporting functions for applicable DHA applications and servers, and produce reports depicting the performance indicators for these applications and servers, such as uptime and downtime. Maintains disaster recovery capability and procedures and ensures all enterprise monitoring servers are compliant to the latest appropriate DISA STIGs. Implements digital signature and encryption requirements specified in DoDI 8520.02, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Public Key (PK) Enabling. Manages and maintains Public Key Encryption (PKE) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) in a Windows environment for compliance. Ivanti Administrators ensure end-user device (EUD) is in the correct deployment group, correct Active Directory group memberships, checks the status of assigned configuration files and verifies that those configuration files are present in the correct locations, and determines if folder redirection or Offline Files GPOs are interfering with File Director operations. Develops SOPs for gathering Ivanti logs for File Director, Environment Manager, and Management Center. Supports installation and maintenance of physical and virtual servers, enhance efficiency of critical systems, and ensure compliancy with applicable Army, DoD, and industry guidelines and policies (see paragraph 6). Develops, validates, and documents Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures for all supported device types within the enterprise. Produces/updates checklists, guides and/or standard operating procedures for enterprise monitoring and preventative maintenance. As necessary, prepares After Action Reports for submitted SITREPs, EXSUMs and UDRs. Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company. Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output. Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four (4) years' system administration experience, or equivalent combination of education / experience. Experience working in or with Defense Health Agency or other military medical environment. . CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
