HII - Mission Technologies division is currently seeking a Senior Web Developer to oversee the web presence for the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. This position will be focused on our web presence effort to consolidate our existing websites and SharePoint sites to a minimum number, then sustain those sites to keep them current. This position will be located at the San Antonio, Texas office and work a hybrid schedule. (The successful candidate will work remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.) This position is conditional upon contract award; anticipating June 2022 start. What you will do o Develop a plan to consolidate existing websites and SharePoint sites and execute this consolidation plan. o Ensure work products are correct, adhere to the design concepts, and comply with agency requirements and standards. o Participate in test activities, demonstrate product to Government personnel for approval, prepare status reports, and provide presentations of the redesigned sites to end user representatives. o Research, make recommendations on, and implement modules and custom development. o Demonstrate ability to communicate on a technical level to a technical audience. o Implement a responsive web design approach. o Design the web site(s) such that they are functional on common PC browser platforms. o Research and implement security controls, mechanisms or measures to increase the security level of the web site(s) and to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems. o Provide support for penetration testing activities. o Remediate any vulnerabilities discovered as part of routine vulnerability scanning. o Implement password and other security policies. o Troubleshoot permissions in SharePoint Online. o Use SharePoint Online to achieve business objectives, including; troubleshooting, calculating columns, forms, creating and managing views, managing groups, calendar creation, alerts, workflows, etc. o Manage day to day technical challenges and communicate to the Program Manager any risks or issues associated with the development activities. o Aggregate and synthesize data from authoritative systems into metrics and analytics. o Quickly comprehend complexity and convey findings in concise, well-written narratives. o Participate in other technical assistance and additional duties as required. What you must have o 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience. o Minimum of three years of SharePoint development experience. o Substantial knowledge of web technology and programming skills necessary to organize information, develop web pages, create web templates, develop web applications, establish site structure, and produce website documentation. o Have demonstrated experience as a Senior Web Designer/Developer level, including work developing web applications and websites. o Advanced site-building experience. o Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, PowerShell, PowerApps, Web developer with Power BI and graphic designexperience. o Ability to write in code using language such as C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, MVC.NET or ASP.NET Web Forms, WCF Services, SharePoint REST and the SharePoint Client Object Model. o Understanding of Site Collections, Metadata, Access control groups, Inheritance, Creating custom views, Master Pages, Web apps and web parts. o Proficiency using Excel to report on data in meaningful displays incorporating pivot tables, graphs, and charts in a way that facilitates business and operational insights. o Experience and comfort with MS Excel and other MS Office products. o Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including presentation skills). Bonus points for o Client-facing experience in a consulting environment among mid-level to senior leadership. o Certified SharePoint Developer (Preferred). Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
