Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Quality and Compliance, the Compliance Officer works to ensure the compliance with regulatory and legal requirements of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) programs at Seton Home and St.
PJ's Children's shelter.
This position will be responsible for ongoing compliance with Council on Accreditation (COA) standards, as well as successful completion and ongoing compliance on Praesidium assessment and accreditation.
This position works closely with leadership to ensure that employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, contract requirements, agency policies and procedures, and Catholic Charities' Code of Conduct.
Position
Responsibilities:
Develop and monitor a compliance program that allows the organization to manage risk by ensuring business operations are performed in compliance with state and federal laws Responsible for designing and coordinating systems and activities to monitor the performance and quality of services and overall effectiveness of Seton Home and St.
PJ's ORR programs Assists in the timely analysis and reporting of performance against performance and quality indicators.
Oversee and maintain assessment and accreditation through Praesidium for Seton Home and St.
PJ's ORR programs Promoting best practices and facilitating optimum delivery of quality trauma informed care to UAC Conduct regular safety assessments to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory entities Reviewing and monitoring case record reviews for ORR programs and ensuring improvement each quarter Maintain up to date written documentation and policies relevant to compliance related issues Remain up to date on federal and state laws related to the organization and ORR programs and update applicable policies as required Training of staff on quality compliance and quality assurance activities Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information.
Other duties as assigned by Director of Quality and Compliance and VP of Administration.

Minimum
Qualifications:
Bilingual:
Fluent in English/Spanish with regards to reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension of the spoken language Education Bachelor's degree required Experience o Two (2) years' experience in compliance or related role preferred License and Credentials Reliable transportation Valid driver license Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
Must have a strong moral code and sense of ethics Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices; Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team; Must have good written and verbal skills; Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Travel Requirements:
Travel requirements for the position includes 25% local.
