Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent with Tilt Wall experience to join our team in San Antonio.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction project, from planning and scheduling to budgeting and execution.
The ideal candidate will have experience in projects that are mixed-use/office/retail and one to three stories in height.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the construction project from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Review and approve project plans, specifications, and construction documents.
Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the project plan.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and owners, to ensure that project requirements are met.
Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and other applicable laws and regulations.
Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
Ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards and that all project documentation is complete and accurate.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is being completed in accordance with the project plan and quality standards.
Manage project closeout, including ensuring that all punch list items are completed and that all project documentation is submitted to the owner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent with Tilt Wall experience.
Experience managing mixed-use/office/retail projects that are one to three stories in height.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and other applicable laws and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and construction documents.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and owners.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
