Responsibilities:
Modify, adjust, and monitor the delivery plan for multiple terminals on a daily basis Plans and executes delivery schedule to meet network requirements Uses and adjusts schedules and resources to identify and alter routes for special requests Assesses driver work assignments to ensure on time deliveries to all business units Executes workflow to minimize DOT Hours of Service Impact Coordinates and distributes work assignments to drivers Assigns tractors to drivers to ensure most efficient use of resources Responsible for data entry on driver manifests and updates for completed deliveries Review and process driver activity for proper payroll processing Analyze and resolve technical issues (Transportation Management System and On-board computers) Supports communication between warehouses, transportation terminals, and third party vendors to ensure service level expectations are met Escalates issues when resources do not meet business needs or demands EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION PREFERRED High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Demonstrated PC skills to include MS Office Good written and verbal communication skills Proven customer service experience Proven ability to work and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast pace work environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent time management skills Ability to meet deadlines Strong interpersonal skills PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment Sit for extended periods Work extended hours Work rotating schedules including nights and weekends Use arms / hands in repetitive motion during the day 03-2014.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
