With food delivery more than tripling over the past 4 years, our to-go host has become one of the most important positions at Alamo Cafe.
The to-go host facilitates all orders for take-out, curbside, and delivery.
Responsibilities of our To-Go Host:
Counting stock levels for to-go chip bags, tortillas bags, and hot sauce.
Preparing to-go chip bags, tortilla bags, and hot sauce for the shift.
Managing call-in orders and online orders via the Alamo Cafe app and 3rdParty Delivery companies Answering phone calls for general inquiry about Alamo Cafe Ensuring order accuracy for all to-go orders Handling guest payments Keep to-go station clean and organized Our To-Go Host is someone who Reflects the service attitude of the restaurant when conversing with guests Is friendly and courteous Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Has the ability to remain calm under pressure Exhibits an attention to detail Loves creating a fun and memorable experience for others Thrives on making loyal guests by displaying a strong sense of urgency, extensive menu knowledge and ensuring all orders are on-time and accurate Possesses or can complete and maintain a TX Food Handler certificate and Texas Alcoholic Beverage Company (TABC) Certificate Our To-Go Host can take advantage of the following perks.
