Principal Software Engineer
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to support a marketing clients Ad Optimization team.
This person will:
- Design, develop, and maintain the software and systems that drive their Display Advertising systems - Extend the platform by researching and applying new technologies and stacks to solve business problems - Participate in multi-disciplinary projects with the applications and analytics teams - Maintain their big data platform by diagnosing, predicting, and correcting scaling problems - Contribute to the teams growing set of development platforms, tools, and processes - Work in an Agile environment closely with Product Management and collaborate with other engineering teams Proficient in Postgres, Tableau and/or Spark Experience with JIRA, Confluence and/or Scala 8
years of experience in application development using core Java, Spring framework and Spring Boot Fluent in Java and Python Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket and GitLab Experience mentoring junior developers and serving as a technical lead Comfortable designing, building and deploying with minimal supervision Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Apache Spark Big Data Bitbucket Coaching And Mentoring Confluence Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
