Senior Storage Engineer
A client in the San Antonio, TX area is looking for a Senior Storage Engineer to join their team on site.
The candidate will be managing data storage, doing daily backups, and recoveries.
They will need to be knowledgeable in code upgrades, creating file stores, and troubleshooting access or server issues.
The candidate will need to know how to handle major product upgrades and the storage environment and components of a large enterprise.
The engineer will also be responsible for complex problem resolution within the environment.
- Bachelor's degree - Professional storage Certification:
- EMCST (EMC Storage Technologist), - EMCSA (EMC Storage Administrator, - EMCTA (EMC Technology Architect), - EMCPE (EMC Platform Engineer), or - any professional EMC cert - Strong experience with Dell EMC Storage and Backup Engineering in a large enterprise - 10
years of IT Networking experience (Field Technician, Data Center Tech, Storage Admin, etc.
) - Understanding of storage environment and ability to be resourceful with storage components.
