Development Coordinator, Community First Health Plans

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIESThe Development Coordinator will support daily operations by leading employee engagement, incentive, rewards, volunteer, and recognition programs across the health plan through the direction of the Corporate Communications Director.
Acts as primary organizer for workforce engagement functions as related to Community First.
Assists employees and managers in the development and enhancement of activities designed to engage staff throughout Community First.
Serves as a liaison with University Health (UH) Corporate Communications and other UH service departments to disseminate pertinent information and initiatives to Community First staff.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in related field required.
Two 2 years of non-profit experience preferred, particularly in special events, employee engagement, or project management.
Experience working in healthcare, hospital, or academic medical center a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
Excellent interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with internal and external customers of Community First Health Plans.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; handle multiple projects and effectively manage and set priorities.
Strong analytical and planning skills.
Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite or similar products.
Recommended Skills Analytical Communication Event Management Health Care Interpersonal Skills Microsoft Office Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
