Barbaricum seeks an experienced Test Engineer for an Air Force program enabling operational test, evaluation, and range support to the 346th Test Squadron and 318 Range Squadron, 67th Cyberspace Wing.
This individual will integrate with a team of cyber security professionals to ensure instrumented cyber ranges, capable of stimulating operational networks, are provisioned to support the Air Force's cyber mission.
This Test Engineer will plan, prepare, and execute tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements, as well as analyze and report test results.
Responsibilities Provide engineering support for system integration and test events of systems/projects to include deployment and installation support, provide scripts and testing and implementation of those scripts.
Operate and maintain a system integrated test lab that is capable of supporting a full range of integration test activities for both the currently fielded system(s) as well as maintenance/modernization releases.
Establish and maintain a production environment that mirrors the operational environment in order to perform regression testing.
Perform testing and inspections of all system services to ensure the technical adequacy and accuracy of all work.
Conduct testing ranging from data entry and display at the user level combined with system loading to represent a fully operational system.
Provide on-site support during the acceptance-testing period.
Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-181.
Qualifications Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required (Master's preferred) At least 3 years of relevant experience Must possess one of the following IAT Level III certifications:
CISSP (preferred); CASP
