Clinical Research Area Specialist-Associate (Mays Cancer Center)

Summary:
Under general supervision, responsible for the operation of a specialized educational/social science research area within a recognized unit.
Assists with research project tasks to include recruitment, data collection, and the day to day operations of research projects.
Job Duties:
Assists in conducting research projects according to the research plan/project.
Performs duties in support of research project such as scheduling research subjects, obtaining research data, organizing data, researching records and entering data in a research database.
Assist in conducting literature reviews and maintains information.
Assists in the maintenance of information and literature, and keeps current on literature and developments in the areas of research.
Prepares materials for publication.
Trains and guides other lower level research support personnel in techniques; explains and demonstrates instrument capabilities, operations, limitations and outcomes.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in an educational/social science is required.
Experience:
Up to one (1) year related experience is required.
