We are looking for proven Rock Stars to join our high-performance sales organization.
Role:
The Sales Development Representative will generate qualified leads for the Field Territory Managers through outbound prospecting efforts and serve as the main point of contact to build relationships via incoming calls, web inquiries, tradeshow attendees, Live Chat, and other sources.
Build rapport over a long-term, multi-touch relationship.
Each touch is daisy-chained together by capturing interactions in notes within the CRM and setting call reminders and nurture paths for the prospect.
Outbound calling represents 80% of the SDR's time with 20% invested in responding to inbound inquiries.
Responsibilities:
Connect with prospects at the early stages of the buying process to increase the quality and quantity of qualified leads for the sales force resulting in stronger pipelines and increased revenue Nurture prospects, build trust and rapport that leads to opportunity Build rapport with contacts by offering resources (webinar invitations, white papers, relevant blog articles, etc.
) and understanding where the prospect is in the buying process Identify opportunities that meet minimum qualification criteria for the sales field Gather key information to update the CRM system and assign a nurture path and follow-up strategy Track all activity, including all scheduled follow-up tasks in the CRM Generate Qualified Leads Connect sales reps to prospects at the ideal timing of the prospect's choice Requirements:
Self-starter Excellent telephone/interpersonal communication skills, and manners Well organized, able to multi-task, and comfortable and experienced in contacting and conversing with senior business executives and technical buyers Demonstrable ability to develop strong business relationships and sell in a fast-paced environment Demonstrable ability to collaborate in a team environment and hold yourself accountable to the highest level of standards Desire to compete and win Source new leads through creative outbound methods Achieve daily, weekly and monthly KPI goals Weekly call plans outlining how you will have success in your sales territory Partner with the outside sales team Consistently deliver feedback to Marketing and Sales Daily management and accurate updating of Salesforce.
