Accounts Receivable Support Specialist
San Antonio, TX San Antonio, TX Full-time Full-time $18 - $20 an hour $18 - $20 an hour Maintain and be responsible for COD accounts and complete customer contracts.
Perform collections, billing and other clerical duties that support the accounting department.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Make daily collections calls to shop, cod and credit card account customers.
Place those accounts on hold to prevent future invoicing until payment has been received.
Create monthly reports of customers that have not paid timely.
Once paid remove hold status.
Run credit cards as needed for cod accounts.
Maintain the HOLD account process including the FDL & Attorney letters.
Perform AR projects as needed.
Provide and assist in incoming accounts receivable calls.
Serves as the back up for AR, which includes but not limited to, billing, account receivable's trade collection calls and logs, assist in COD call central board, process credit card payments, PM/Service agreements and online billing research.

Qualifications:
Data entry skills required Customer collections Analyzing information Attention to detail Must have computer knowledge to include MS Office applications Prefer previous knowledge or experience in Sage/MAS Strong communication and customer service skills Accounting 2 years EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High school or GED equivalent 2 years' experience in an accounting department preferred 2 years' experience in an office environment PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs Sit for long periods of time Data Entry at least 75% of the day Job Type:
