We are seeking an individual who works primarily in the office, but is willing and capable to cover in the field as needed.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required, history as a caregiver/nurse is preferred.
The Care Coordinator will assist with all agency communication between clients, Caregivers, family members, and other professionals.
Must be confident with computer skills, attention to detail, ability to manage confidential information, good phone etiquette, and remain professional at all times.
Work hours:
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm and on-call one or two Sundays a month and 2 evenings every other week.
Successful candidate must be able to learn, comprehend and execute quickly.
Much of what you learn will be on the job training as you grow with Avionn Home Health Care.
Your Daily Responsibilities will Include:
Scheduling employees, making sure client shifts are covered.
Interviewing and hiring new employees, Working on Business Development with referral sources.
Take On-Call Shifts as needed, this may include some nights, weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
Job Requirement:
Applicants must have a valid driver's license, Insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
Preferred:
We prefer the candidate to have Caregiving
Experience:
1 year
or be CNA trained.
Basic knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) Ability to perform in home caregiving tasks and have a willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
Must be respectful, prompt, and professional and have good time management.
Effective communication and people skills Strong ethics - At Avionn, we always strive to do the right thing! Physical endurance - able to assist someone who can't help themselves.
Must have a Driver's License, Insurance and a Reliable Vehicle (Required) US work authorization (Required) High school or equivalent (Preferred) If you are passionate about providing seniors with dignified, respectful care, then you may have what it takes to become part of our team.
