Summary:
Under general supervision, responsible for assisting with organizing, coordinating and executing human resource department projects and processes.
Work Schedule:
Hybrid Job Duties:
Supports HR by triaging and providing information and advice for HR related policies and procedure, and thoroughly documenting casework.
Provides the Intake for employee relations matters to ensure effective achievement of legally compliant resolutions in a timely manner and within institutional guidelines.
Updates and maintains HR related policies and procedures, to include providing guidance and responding to general inquiries.
Coordinates and responds to unemployment claims by investigating and collecting information to determine appropriate steps.
Manages employee service awards and annual award ceremonies.
Establishes and maintains committee members and stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Develops and revises standard operating procedures and metrics for all service awards.
Intermediate user of Microsoft applications (such as Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel) Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related degree is required.
Experience:
Two (2) years of related experience is required.
Qualifications - External:
Due to the nature of this role, this position will handle sensitive situations and may have access to protected information.
Incumbents will be expected to maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality, whether oral, written or electronic Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$44,400.
00 - $66,600.
