Summary:
Under the general direction of the RRS Associate Senior Director, the Education, RSI, and YMP, Director is a position that is a part RRS leadership team.
This position is responsible for overseeing the intake process for clients enrolled in the following federal grants/or contracts:
Refugee Support Services/Education, Refugee School Impact, and the Youth Mentoring Programs.
High quality services are expected to be provided through close supervision of program employees by the program director.
Through a hands-on approach, the director must ensure service delivery to clients are provided in a timely and culturally appropriate manner.
The director is responsible for administrative and client financials, program reporting, and client file upkeep.
In addition, this position is responsible for hiring program employees, on-broad program training, develop talent within the team including cross training and seeking out opportunities for professional growth of emerging leaders within the team.
Position
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for recruitment, hiring and training of all staff under their supervision and will make recommendations for termination of employees.
To develop and implement employee development plans for program employees.
Plan bi-weekly supervisory one on ones, and program meetings for program employees; To give direction regarding activities of each program service, and collect monthly data reports.
Provide monthly numbers of clients served to the PQI Director, and Vice President of Programs The director will oversee the program to ensure staffs provide culturally appropriate and timely services needed to assure the self-sufficiency of the clients we serve.
Conduct monthly peer case file reviews.
Plan client home visits and follow-up with outside agencies where services are being provided to clients for maintaining good communication and partnerships with the community.
Expected to be hands on with staff, and with day-to-day operations.
Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral is mandatory.
Must be sensitive to the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Every employee is required to take a solution-oriented approach in their interactions and undertakings, as well as being a team member that promotes collaboration and commitment to the Mission and Vision of the organization.
Adhering to safety training and protocols on a daily basis, and taking precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others.
Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information.
Other duties as assigned by RRS Associate Senior Director.

Qualifications:
Education/Experienceo A Bachelor's degree in a social service related field is preferred, or a minimum of four to six years' experience in a social service environment that demonstrates a sensitivity and appreciation for diverse cultural populations.
License and Credentialso Reliable transportationo Valid driver licenseo Valid vehicle insuranceo Clean driving recordo Must be at least 21 years of ageMinimum Knowledge and Skills Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team; Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of Federal grants and/or contracts, and maintain appropriate working relations with funding sources.
Complete required reports to funding sources in a timely manner.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Knowledge of Program Manuals and Operational Guidelines.
Knowledge of client files documentation and record keeping.
Skilled in using personal computer, various software, email and internet.
Skilled in organization and time management.
Ability to maintain appropriate ethical boundaries and professional client relationship.
Ability to lead and motivate staff to improve performance.
Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
