Develops software architecture to efficiently address current and expected requirements and justifies approach with a business value analysis.
Support the establishment of an essential foundation of cyber data standardization, artificial intelligence, analytics, infrastructure, and testing focused on optimizing the development of cyber operations capabilities.
Experience 8 years of minimum total relevant experience as Software or Systems Engineer (minimum 3 years specifically as an Architect).
Recent experience architecting large/enterprise-level distributed platform.
Experience using Unified Platform/Unified Platform for GOVCLOUD Experience with enterprise-level system integration and Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC).
Desired - Experience developing architectures that integrate defensive and offensive cyber operations, and cyber intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
Knowledge Working knowledge of the Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture.
Working knowledge of DOD DevSecOps Mandates Working knowledge of DOD Big Data Platform frameworks.
Expert knowledge of cloud technologies, microservices architecture service architectures, and modern software practices.
Working knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
Skills Provide technical expertise and leadership to the development team throughout the software development lifecycle.
Identify performance bottlenecks, optimize application performance, and ensure the application meets or exceeds performance benchmarks.
Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
Uses MS Office/365 Office applications, including MS SharePoint.
Abilities Work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure smooth project delivery and effective communication.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide and motivate the development team.
