Responsibilities:

These essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and regular attendance must be maintained.
Processes transactions related to A/P, A/R or Payroll to include the review, posting, interfacing and reconciliation of financial information in an ERP module.
Reconciles bank accounts and or subsidiary ledgers to the General Ledger (e.
g.
, A/R, A/P, and Security Deposits) and research variance and or discrepancies as necessary.
Manage business relationships with customers in a proactive manner to ensure excellent customer service.
Compiles financial data to support individual general ledger balances for annual audit.
Prepares adjusting journal entries to general ledger accounts as needed.
Download or import data from various sources to post and/or reconcile to the G/L or other databases.
Prepare periodic reports for senior team, ELT, or Board of Commissioners Cash monitoring duties including tracking all investments for the agency.
Manages Tickler System, documenting completion of assigned tasks Document business processes, develop standard operating procedures and submits recommendations for improvements.
Other duties as assigned.

Typical Qualifications Education and
Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree (B.
A.
) in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university 2.
5 GPA in core accounting classes as supported by a copy of transcript Must have the ability to learn and use cloud applications such as Google GSuite applications to include but not limited to:
Google Chrome Browser, Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets and Slides.
Understanding document sharing and collaboration in the cloud.
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, cloud accessible applications to include but not limited to:
One drive, Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint or MAC or PC desktop equivalent is acceptable.
Successful completion of a criminal history background check, education, and work history verification, and drug screening test.
Preferred:
Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience (including internships) Knowledge of and ability to prepare internal and external financial statements i.
e balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
Ability to review and monitor compliance with contracts such as debt covenants, trusts, loans, and other regulatory agreements.
License and Certifications:
Texas Class C driver's license at the time of placement and be insurable by the Opportunity Home San Antonio's liability and fleet insurance carrier.
Must have the ability to earn certifications as required by assigned tasks.
Technical Skills:
