Summary:
Monitors and analyzes security activities from Security Operations Center (SOC).
What is the work? (other duties may be assigned) Security:
- Monitors by video, all entry and exit points for pedestrian and vehicle traffic on proprieties and facilities owned and operated by H-E-B Manages the Security Operations Center for assigned site, utilizing video management and access control systems Prioritizes workload based on urgency; delegates tasks Responsible for the intake and coordination of serious incident reports Performs routine duties with little or no supervision Communications:
Communicates with a range of audiences Responsible for conducting security site surveys Responsible for completing security reports Communicates incidents with a sense of urgency, and in a timely manner Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent (2 years of higher education preferred) 3
years of experience in security Experience as a guard (preferred) Preferred Key Competencies Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel Strong verbal / written communication skills Decision-making skills Ability to function in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks Adaptability Physical and Other Requirements Must have a neat, professional appearance and report to work in a complete and clean assigned uniform Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment Travel by car or plane with overnight stays Work extended hours / sit for extended periods Work rotating schedules Occasionally lift 20 lbs or more Hand / finger dexterity; use arms / hands in repetitive motion during the day LPSEC3232.
