Junior Software Engineer with Security Clearance

-Assisting with the build, deployment and monitoring of Web tool for the Army CECOM Software Engineering Command Army Reprogramming Analysis Team - Serving as a part of agile development teams, delivers an end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment;- Creating scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks;- Collaborating with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution;- Monitoring and supporting installed systems and infrastructure;- Contributing to the design of information and operational support systems;- Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools;- Providing support for the organization's security, backup, and redundancy strategies;- Providing assistance with Enterprise Application Development- Provides support for compliance and continuous improvement for software development and software policies and procedures.
- May manage software technical solutions to ensure highly adaptable and resilient software architecture and component design.
Required
Experience:
-Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.
-Preferred degree in Computer Science (CS) or Software Engineering.
Related fields (e.
g.
, Engineering, Mathematics) may be considered relevant if the programs contain, at minimum, a concentration of courses in the following foundational CS areas:
algorithms; computer architecture ; programming methodologies and languages; data structures; logic and computation; and advanced mathematics (for example, calculus, discrete mathematics).

Experience:
- Knowledge of Cloud architecture, Digital Engineering and Corresponding Tools Knowledge, and/or Enterprise Apps Development- Experience in administering and performance tuning of application stacks- Experience deploying and monitoring web applications in AWS.
- Experience in working with DoD infrastructures - Demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, and engineering practices;- Experience with systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, logging;- Experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux based environments;- Knowledge of networking technologies, particularly with OSI network layers and TCP/IP;- Scripting skills, including shell scripts;- Ability to work in an open team environment;- Security first mindset;- Strong verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders Recommended Skills Adaptability Algorithms Architecture Automation Business Process Improvement Communication Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
