SArmy Signal Regional Network Enterprise Center (NEC) requires Information Technology services to provide Command, Control, Communication, and Computer Information Technology (C4/IT) Enterprise Management ServicesFort Sam Houston is part of a Joint Base and C4/IT support is a key component affecting the readiness and sustainability of critical DoD and other tenant activities across the installationIn addition, NEC Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) will be undergoing changes due to regionalization restructuringThe Army and the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) are in the process of transforming the DoD Information Network - Army (DODIN-A)Some of the local network functions are moving to the enterpriseThe most recent service that moved to the enterprise was EmailThe NEC supports some Major Army Commands and some Direct Reporting Units (DRU) such as the Army Medical Command, Army South, Installation Command and its subordinates commands, and Medical Education & Training CampusThe overall strength of these organizations along with the other tenants on the installation surpass a population of twenty-five thousand three hundred fifty (25,350) Military, Civilian, Contractor, and Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) personnelPrimary
Responsibilities:
o Provide touch labor technical support for Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) /Joint Management System (JMS) network components o Provide JRSS/JMS touch labor to configure and maintain enterprise network devices (i.
elayer 2 & 3 switches and routers); support and troubleshoot remote network services (VPN)o Implement, maintain and perform periodic compliance validations checks in accordance with DISA STIG and NIST SP-800.
53 Risk Management Framework security controls for network infrastructures and components; identify and remediate security vulnerabilitieso Assist in the installation, maintenance, and usage of the organization's local area networko Assist in the establishment of network procedures regarding access methods and time, security validation checks, and documentationo Maintain network topology diagrams; network software and hardware inventorieso Research software and hardware issues regarding the network and provide recommended solutions to the Governmento Inform users when there are network problemso Monitor and tracks continuity with software licensing and maintenance agreementso Troubleshoot network problemso Work may require access to classified COMSEC information, loading of COMSEC key, and/or Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) at Government work locations onlyo Work may require hand receipting for COMSEC material from a supporting government KMI Operational Account Manager (KOAM) as long as they meet the guidelines in AR 380-40o Familiarity with AR 380-40, Chapter 6, Communication Security Incidents which identify reporting procedures for COMSEC incidents and be familiar with Appendix B, security classification guidelinesRequired Skills &
Qualifications:
o 3 years' experience supporting DoD Networks o Knowledge and experience communicating networking concepts to technical and nontechnical personnel; ability to develop technical documents and produce system design documentation using Visio and Power PointDesired Skills &
Qualifications:
o Current experience on Army Networks (NIPR and SIPR) o Experience working RMF Control families within eMasso Able to maintain eMass records as a component of dutiesEducation/
Experience:
o Experience with Cisco Prime and network tools similar to Net Cool, InfoVista, Riverbed, Secure CRT, and RemedyExperience with 802.
1x network port security on a heterogeneous network; thorough understanding of network protocols and services (TCP, UDP, IP, STP, CDP, HSRP, DNS, DHCP, VTP, VPN, FTP, TFTP, IAS, VoIP, NAT and Dot1.
x)Certifications (Required):

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
