Leidos serves the USAF AFLCMC/HNCD Organization in the advancement of next generation capabilities for USAF Defensive Cyber Weapon Systems that benefit the 16th Air Force overall with technology that improves operational capabilities in the Cyber Warfighting domain.
The PMO for the USAF Defensive Cyber Weapon Systems is located at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.
This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base.
Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the overall Program Manager position for the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems Contract.
This candidate will have overall Program Management responsibilities for the Program, reporting directly to the Leidos Vice President of Air Force and Defense Agencies.
It is envisioned that the entire Leidos / Subcontractor team of over 60 FTEs will report into this position, inclusive of 20-30 mission essential staff that are deployed with the current Cyber Protection Teams in 16th Air Force.
This is a full-time position that must work near the customer location with frequent on-site visits to Lackland Air Force Base and 10-20% travel to other USAF Bases.
Full Time Telework is allowed as long as the candidate is local to San Antonio, TX.
Primary Responsibilities Provide experience-based thought leadership to the AFLCMC/HNCD Organization on Operational needs, Platform capabilities and overall improved effectiveness of USAF Defensive Cyber Weapon Systems.
Plan, coordinate, and direct the administrative, program control, and technical personnel involved in providing services in fulfillment of the contract.
Provide guidance and subject matter expertise for concept designs, development, test, deployment, and sustainment.
Provide technical leadership in the USAF Defensive Cyber Weapon Systems to support technical planning, integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability of the broader Defensive Cyber Weapon System ecosystem.
Manage and control schedules and cost to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort Provide direction for operations and ensure compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures Provide recommendations for resolution of technical problems; and provide management oversight to assigned program personnel, both Leidos and subcontractors, ensuring the highest quality of task completion and deliverables in accordance with the contract.
Act as a bridge builder between AFLCMC/HNCD and the Operator Community in 16th Air Force.
Must at all times be a role model to subordinate employees, be a workforce motivator, and be a provider of constructive criticism.
Basic Qualifications BA or BS or equivalent experience and 8
years of prior experience relevant to Cyber Weapon Systems or Masters with 6
years of prior experience relevant to Cyber Weapon Systems.

years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of and experience in the complete lifecycle of the software in USAF Defensive Cyber Weapon systems.
Have knowledge and experience with USAF plans, policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition and support of software and computer resources for USAF Cyber Weapon Systems.
Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and proven ability to interface with multifaceted customer set.
Willing to travel up to 20% to support operational requirements.
Must possess an active Secret and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with the CVA/Hunt Cyber Weapon System and associated platforms.
Familiarity with the needs of the Operational community of the CVA/Hunt Cyber Weapon System.
The estimated salary range for this position is $118k - $205k.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.
00 - $213,850.
