Qualifications:
o Experience with Cisco routing/switching technologies.
o Experience with network management tools such as SolarWinds is a plus.
o Experience with logging tools such as Splunk is a pluso Experience creating / maintaining detailed system / network diagrams.
o Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networkso Experience with enterprise networking including virtual networking experience (VxLAN, MPLS, with segment routing, traffic management, QoS) is a pluso Experience with Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3 IT cloud infrastructure technologies is a pluso Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCPo Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and securityo Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshootingo Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
o Evaluates and recommends solutions and strategies to program leadership.
o Promotes the architecture vision to management, stakeholders, and staff.
o Have knowledge with monitoring network performance, solving technical issues, deploying, configuring, and upgrading network equipment, managing firewall changes, ensuring network security, and providing customer serviceThis position will collaborate with other departments and vendors to plan, design, implement and oversee all network services including wireless, virtual private networking (VPN), firewall, Internet, switching and routing
Qualifications:
o Minimum General
Experience:
At least ten (10) years developing and delivering IT Architectures or IT systems design/ engineering services or supported that activity with an organization.
o Functional Responsibility:
Provides architecture and business consulting servicesFunctions as lead consultant and project manager on technically complex projects.
o Minimum Education:
A BS in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent years of experience.
Recommended Skills Analytical Architecture Cisco Computer Networks Customer Service Dns Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
