SAir Force SAF/CDM office with software development, data science and DevOps effortsMission:
The Software Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop and maintain data integration solutions for a wide range of data sources in support of Department of Defense (DoD) missionsThe successful candidate will be responsible for the integration, transformation, and loading of data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakesThe Data Integration Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness, as well as ensuring data compliance with relevant security and privacy regulationsEducation/Training:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related fieldAt least 2 years of experience in data integration or a related field
Responsibilities:
Work with data scientists to implement data cleaning/processing tools in Python notebook environmentDesign and develop data integration solutions using ETL tools, SQL scripts, and other methodsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data integration requirements and ensure that they are metDevelop and maintain data warehouses and data lakesEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and completenessEnsure compliance with relevant security and privacy regulationsDevelop and maintain documentation related to data integration solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve data integration issuesContinuously evaluate and improve data integration processes and technologiesStay up to date with emerging data integration technologies and best practices
Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS/SCI clearance requiredStrong SQL and Python skillsExperience with data warehousing and data lakesFamiliarity with data modeling and data mapping techniquesUnderstanding of data security and privacy regulationsAbility to take initiative, work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalPreferred:
