Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a motivated and qualified entry-level HR Representative to join our HR Business Partner team.
This HR Representative will perform general Human Resources related duties and fulfill responsibilities in all facets of Human Resources with a focus on onboarding.
Requires well developed team skills and unquestioned integrity.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the full cycle on-boarding process for new hires, including pre-hire communication, orientation and follow up on new hire surveys.
Field HR inquiries/questions from employees.
Elevate issues, as necessary.
Work closely with the HR Operations Team to communicate all employment status changes, leaves of absence, promotions, etc.
, ensuring accuracy of data in HRIS and payroll.
Assist in the implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures.
Provide support with weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing as needed.
Communicate effectively with employees and managers to assist with HR related inquiries.
Collaborate with the Knowledge and Learning Team on employee training requests and programs.
Perform, or assist with, regular data integrity audits, regulatory reporting, compliance reviews and report on findings.
Schedule and coordinate new hire orientation, including booking rooms and coordinating technology set up.
Data entry or account set up in HR systems.
Special projects and other related tasks, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
Relevant years of experience required to perform the role:
0-3 years.
