INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST with Security Clearance Duties DUTY 1:
Maintains language proficiency and provides accurate representation target language. DUTY 2:

Requirements Conditions of Employment U.S. Citizenship Required All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period. Position is designated special-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed. If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. This is an LDP and requires foreign language proficiency in Russian to perform the intelligence-related duties assigned. Employee must achieve a score of 3/3 on the DLPT. The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments. An advanced intelligence-related or professional/scientific degree is desirable. Employee is subject to polygraph testing as an inherent primary requirement of their position, and must be able to meet NSA personnel security requirements as outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1. Mobility is a condition of employment. The employee must sign an Air Force-wide mobility agreement. Qualifications This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the Professional work category are at the Full Performance work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. Experience:
Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include extensive knowledge of the full range of intelligence and language research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to develop capabilities, studies, and threat assessments. Demonstrated knowledge of the national IC, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations. Knowledge of Russian language at a professional level and technical expert in intelligence analysis and production activities. Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detailed analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources, to include database manipulation. Conducts unbiased research to identify appropriate available systems/data sources to produce collection strategies that satisfy agency capabilities in support of customer requirements. Clearly and concisely crafts written and verbal intelligence products to enable senior leadership decisions. Understands requirements for DoD, IC, and CMT/CST customer products. Ability to conduct unbiased complex research and recommend systems/data sources. Utilizes experience with modernization and acquisition processes to assist AF and IC planning, programming, and budgeting processes. Note:
Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):

Knowledge of the full range of intelligence and language research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data in order to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities and threat assessments to interpret policy and commit resources. Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detailed analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources, to include database manipulation. Knowledge of the national IC, Joint, DoD structure, organizations, and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations. Skill in reading and listening in the Russian language at a professional level. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing collection requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of customers. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes. Ability to maintain control of classified material, quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or defend a position effectively.
