Summary CHENEGA RELIABLE SERVICES, LLC San Antonio, TX The Environmental Project Manager provides project oversight of various environmental Hazardous Material (HM), Hazardous Waste (HW), and Fence-to-Fence (F2F) contractsResponsibilitieso Coordinate project issues with the COR, GSA or Corp of Engineer Representatives.o Coordinate with Installation Program Managers at the base levelo Manage team activities, schedule/coordinate project deliverables.o Coordinate with subcontractors as necessary to ensure timely deliverables and schedules.o Develop monthly/quarterly reports, support project personnel, and meet schedules.o Prepare and lead/brief monthly/quarterly Contractor Progress Meetings with Installation, Prime contractor, GSA and/or Corp of Engineerso Conduct site visits with focus on HM/HW project managemento Understand RCRA compliance requirements and stays current on updates.o Audit effectiveness of installation EESOH-MIS HM tracking systemo Complete reviews of Hazardous Waste generation and tracking.o Evaluate and document 90-Day storage facility compliance and provide guidance.o Monitor and track HW recycling and industrial recycling activities.o Ensure project requirements and deliverables are accomplished.o Update project SharePoint to ensure audit readiness.o Perform monthly invoicing.o Participate and assist in leading on-site team activities.o Aid in management of deliverableso Works with a high level of client awareness and adaptabilityo Travel Onsite as neededo Other duties as assigned Qualificationso Bachelor's degree in related fieldo Minimum eight (8) years experience in HM/HW management may be considered in lieu of educationo Minimum five (5) years relevant experience in combination of the following disciplines:
o Hazardous Materials Managemento DoD Hazardous Waste operations (90-Day)o DOT HW Transportation Regulationso Minimum five (5) years relevant experience in HM/HW management Knowledge, Skills and Abilitieso Ability to obtain a secret clearance if requiredo Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skillso Highly developed organizational, and attention to detail skillso Skilled technical writingo Experience in Project Managemento Supervisory experienceo DoD Hazardous Materials Management experienceo Experience and familiarity with the Enterprise Environmental Safety and Occupational Health-Management Information System (EESOH-MIS)o In-depth knowledge of DoD Hazardous Waste operations & 90-Day managemento Must be available for travel.o Proven leadership and interpersonal skillso High-level communication skillso Experienced with waste sampling processes.o Ensure Quality Control of tasks and productsPhysical Demands (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this jobReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)o While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hearThe employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingersThe employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close visionAny estimated salary provided by this job board may not align with Chenega's compensation programPlease apply to connect with a recruiter who can provide more details.
