Healthcare Engineering Technician II
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains, services, calibrates, adjusts, repairs, and tests all types of general medical equipment and systems for University Health.
Performs duties and completes assignments in a timely, efficient, and competent manner.
Complies with University Health, departmental, and section policies and regulations.
Uses and cares for equipment and supplies properly.
Maintains professional working relations with customers, staff, and contractors.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in biomedical engineering technology or related field or over eight years of relevant experience is required.
Two years of experience in a full service biomedical section, department or company is required; five years of experience is preferred.
Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
