Under general supervision, perform a wide variety of custodial duties in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment; and perform related work as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to lift approximately sixty pounds.
Must be able to perform task with written instructions.
Must follow WLC maintenance dress code Examples of duties:
Performs routine custodial work such as:
vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and spot cleaning carpets; removing trash in accordance with established procedures; cleaning, disinfecting and stocking paper and supplies in restrooms, classrooms and other facilities as required.
Schedules, coordinates and perform routine and comprehensive custodial maintenance of assigned facilities.
Reports and responds to emergency calls for custodial assistance.
Maintains inventory and submits written requests for supplies.
Removes trash in accordance with established procedures.
Cleans and disinfects restrooms, classrooms and kitchen, stocks facilities with paper and supplies.
Identifies stains and uses proper chemicals for removal.
Taking trash to dumpster several times a day.
Ensure that all cleaning supplies and tools are safely locked out of the reach of children.
Cleaning playgrounds daily using proper equipment.
Responsible for staying busy and actively looking for areas that need attention.
There is no idle time Carry out other duties as assigned by the Director or Designee.
