We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our ICU team.
As an ICU Nurse, you will provide critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform physical examinations and assessments on patients - Administer IV infusions and medications as prescribed - Monitor vital signs and assess changes in patient condition - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans - Operate and monitor neonatal ventilators - Catheterize patients as needed - Perform sonography procedures as required - Document patient care accurately and timely - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting - Proficient in patient assessment and critical thinking skills - Strong knowledge of ICU procedures, protocols, and equipment - Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Location:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Westover Hills provides specialized care and treatment for patients who are critically ill or injured.
Our goal is to provide the highest level of care and support in an environment specifically designed for patients in serious or life-threatening medical circumstances.
The ICU is a special area used for patients in critical condition and in need of 24-hour supervision.
