Under general supervision of the principal investigator. will perform a variety of defined research and laboratory experiments in the area of neurological disorders in humans and rats using MRI, behavioral and histological techniques. Evaluate and interpret data. Develop and optimize new techniques and procedures. Compiles data and results for publications, presentations, and grants. Must be self motivated, goal driven, open to new challenges, and independent in daily tasks.
Plans, develops, coordinates, and performs a wide variety of research experiments involving MRI. Evaluates and interprets research data to provide needed information to investigators.
Responsible for training and collaborating with new students and staff in your area of expertise. Successful applicant is expected to train graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Resolve compliance issues with IRB and IACUC. Participate in grant writing, as well as develop projects into fundable grants as a principal investigator. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and various manuals. Write routine reports and prepare documents for publication. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Master's degree, specific professional/Doctorate degree preferred with two (2) years of related experience.
Preferred:
Life Sciences Master's degree. Experience in MRI, animal handling, minor surgery, or behavioral testing are highly preferred. MRI experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of experimental procedures and general laboratory techniques. Applicants should have MRI expertise with hands-on experience on Bruker or Siemens scanners. Good organization, communication, and writing skills are needed to work with our transdisciplinary teams. Ability to work under pressure, demonstrate good judgement in making quick decisions, and the ability to monitor the work of others. Possess communication skills to interact with others, both internal and external to the organization such as physicians, investigators, vendors, department employees, and co-workers.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
