Qualifications:
o Associates of Arts or Bachelors of Science in a health related field.
o Licensed Vocational Nurse required.
o Minimum of two (2) year experience in a hospital or clinic is required within the last three (3) years.
o Technical experience downloading insulin pumps, continuous sensors, and glucometers.
o Minimum of one (1) year experience performing comprehensive diabetic foot exam - monofilament, tuning fork, ulcer classification, adn peripheral perfusion.
o Prior experience with use of Doppler ultrasound.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
o Implement/execute Diabetes Clinical Service program requirements.
o Provide initial patient assessment to include vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, and other
requirements as dictated by clinic policy.
o Perform annual routine comprehensive diabetic foot exam and quarterly high risk foot visual
inspection.
o Serves as a medical assistant performing care and assessments, establishes policies, procedures,
protocols, and guidelines.
o Provides routine patient care and treatment to beneficiaries. Organizes the medical environment and performs and directs support activities for outpatient care settings.
o Accurately accomplishes appropriate documentation in patients' medical record in a timely
manner (AHLTA), Healthcare Artifacts and Image Management Solution (HAIMS), EDCoE database,
other systems as the AFMS deems necessary).
o Pre-clinic preparation; updates electronic and physical clinic charts with updated information
prior to the following day's clinic.

o Ensure all equipment is stored at the end of each work shift and preventive maintenance and
routine cleaning are performed as directed.
o Participate in in-service training and continuing education programs for new procedures,
techniques, and equipment.
o Provide training related to diabetic care, especially foot assessment and care, to staff from other DoD clinics and facilities.
o Assists with clinic communications, including, but not limited to, patient scheduling,
responding to routine inquiries, and telephone consultants.
o Assists clinic front desk staff with checking in patients, scheduling patients, rescheduling
patients, and other administrative duties.
o Maintains adequate medical and non-medical clinic supplies through routine inventory and
ordering.
o Assist research program administrator with screening research patient (vitals), performing
surveys, and documenting results.
o Performs other duties as deemed necessary by Director and Nurse Manager.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
