Network/Systems Engineer 4 (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Engineer)

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the latest cutting-edge VDI technologies in support of the Air Force's premier operational command and control node. You will work with the premier virtualization vendors in the business to design, select, implement, and sustain a world-class VDI environment supporting the Cyber Command and Control Mission System across multiple security domains. Your efforts will ensure the highest reliability, best performing suite of planning, situational awareness, and battle management tools are available to support operational command and control.
Mandatory Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)
5 yrs experience working w/VMware and developing/fielding virtual solutions
VMware Certified Advanced Professional in Data Center Virtualization (VCAP6-DCV Deploy) or more recent equivalent
VMware Certified Advanced Professional in Desktop and Mobility (VCAP6-DTM Deploy) or more recent equivalent
VMware Certified Professional in Cloud Management and Automation (VCP6-CMA) or more recent equivalent
Experienced with administering PCoIP clients and infrastructure
Desired Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)
Military Veteran
24 AF experience
Air Force Air Operations Center experience
