SMB Sales Representative III

An senior-level sales position targeting small-to-medium sized businesses. The SMB Sales Rep works to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services.
Qualify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry. Consult and sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, and recommending solutions. Research and analyze sales options, and close deals.
Duties and tasks are varied and are complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. 5 years of related experience. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with customers/prospects.

Youwill qualify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluatingtheir position in the industry. Consult and sell Oracle Hospitality Point ofSale products by establishing contact and developing relationships withprospects, and recommending solutions. Research and analyze sales options, andclose deals.

Performa weekly minimum of 30 in person cold calls requiring own vehicle.
Developlasting relationships with prospective and existing customers in order tomaximize revenues for the company.
Understandand articulate highly technical leading edge products & services.
Preparedetailed proposals that include hardware, software, and services in order tomeet or exceed monthly & yearly sales & revenue objectives.
Respondto customer requests for proposals that include all areas of Oracle HospitalityPoint of Sale products & services.
Interfacewith System Engineers & Directors in developing specific accountstrategies.
Understandthe inner workings of the products and present this knowledge to prospectiveand existing customers.
Developand implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Directsales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
Representcompany at outside events (i.e. trade shows, conferences, associationmeetings).
Prepareperiodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas ofproposed client base expansion.
Monitorand evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor'sDegree/or a minimum of 7 years related experience or anequivalent combination of educationand experience.
Experienceselling business applications software to hospitality or like industry.
Demonstratedrecord of consistently meeting and exceeding annual sales quotas.
Reside in or live in closeproximity to sales territory
Skilledat identifying stakeholder and decision-makers and building strong relationshipswith all levels of customers from owners to executive management.
Operationalexperience in the hospitality industry is strongly preferred.
Strongconsultative selling, listening, and writing skills.
Abilityto understand client needs and demonstrate the impact & value/ROI ofproducts and services.
Comprehensiveknowledge of how products and services can positively impact organizationsoperations.
Abilityto provide dynamic product demonstrations.
Abilityto learn technical aspects of the products. Relationship-building skills:
Capable of building and perpetuating profitable business partnerships andrelationships, which promote long-term success.
Workingknowledge of customer relationship management systems; spreadsheet software andword processing software.
Mayinclude 50% travel based on territory assignments.

Whileperforming the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sitand/or stand and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
