Summary: Provide coordination and project support.
Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Collects, compiles and analyzes basic information and data for inclusion in reports and presentations for management
Manages small projects and processes with direct supervision
Responsible for extensive knowledge of one or more business unit programs
Maintains data integrity and updates business databases
Maintains/updates dept. website/dept. databases
Provides specialized support and assists in daily coordination of projects / process for both internal and external businesses
May assist in budget preparation and reconciliation
Communicates initiatives and programs to internal and/or external clients
Coordinates events, schedules and arranges meetings and prepares progress reports related to programs or processes
Preferred Education and Experience
Associates or Bachelor-s Degree or comparable experience
2 - 4 yrs in business related environment
Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of computer programs required by the department (i.e. FinNet, PeopleSoft)
Project coordination and event planning experience
Preferred Key Competencies
Ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks with attention to detail
Prioritization skills in order to determine which tasks need to be handled appropriately
Multi-tasking skills in order to maintain leverage in this fast-paced environment
Good written and verbal communication skills, including but not limited to proper use of grammar, spelling and punctuation
Ability to exercise judgment and employ basic reasoning skills within the scope of established practices and policies; direction only required when issues arise outside of known precedent
Self-motivated, professional, and conscientious
Ability to handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive data and information on a regular basis
Physical and Other Requirements
Function in a fast-paced retail and office environment
Flexible in the role, e.g., staying late as dictated by the business
Lift up to 50 lbs, e.g., box of paper
