Job Description
Summary:
You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests.
You will warmly and enthusiastically greet arriving guests and assist them with check in/out to ensure they are comfortable and feel welcome while also providing information.
You will promote hotel services and amenities to the guests.
The Overnight Front Desk Agent shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times.

Essential Functions:
Enthusiastically welcome our guests, anticipate their needs, assist them with check in and check out, and respond promptly with your personal spirit, however busy and whatever time of dayCreate memorable experiences with a warm, welcoming personality that can relate to guests and associatesCoordinates out of order rooms with housekeepingMaintain positive guest relations at all timesGenerate, print and distribute daily and weekly reportsMaintain complete knowledge of hotel features/services, hours of operation, room types and rates, promotions, daily house count and expected arrivals/departuresResolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfactionObtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies.
Keep bank secure at all timesMeet with Supervisor or Manager on Duty to review daily assignments and prioritiesProcess all guest check-insConfirm reservation in system and review all noted informationFor guests without a reservation, sell a room type agreed uponRegister guest in the computer and generate a registration cardVerify registration card information with the guestObtain back-up information for guest credit/payment method and input into system; collect cash when designatedProcess all check-outs and present folio to guestAdhere to proper cashiering proceduresShare your personal passions and knowledge of the services and amenities available to guests to help them feel at homeCollaborate with team members to communicate what you see and hear to staff and management to ensure the guests' needs are being metEnjoy multi-tasking at a fast pace while having an impeccable eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiencyOther duties as assignedExperience and Education:
High school education or equivalent requiredAt least one year Front Desk experience preferredAt least one year Hospitality experience preferredAt least six months experience with POS systems preferredAt least one year of customer service experience requiredJob Requirements:
Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permitMust be at least 18 years of age Must be able to work well under pressureMust be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written Must be highly detailed orientated Must be able to work in a fast paced environment Must have excellent listening skills Must possesses excellent communication skills Must be professional in appearance and demeanor Must always ensure a teamwork environment Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests and associates Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guestsWorking Conditions:
Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking and stair climbing.
Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs; Must be able to bend, squat, push and pull frequently; Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, squeezing, overhead reaching and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
