Job Description
Summary:
The Barback is responsible for clearing and resetting tables as well as assisting the SweetFire Bartender in providing exceptional service to guests.
S/he assists with clearing tables, refilling drinks, restocking clean glassware and utensils and restocking food and beverage items.
The Barback will assist to maintain the Resort Standards and shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times.

Essential Functions:
Completes all opening, on-going and closing side work and manager on duty as signed off on workStocks/restocks appropriate itemsStocks/restocks work stations with appropriate glasses, plates and saucersInforms server of any potential guest issuesRemoves dishes, glasses, silverware or other item from tables and countertops and takes them to the kitchen for proper sanitationProvides general resort information for guestsOffers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of La Cantera Resort and Spa including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guestMaintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special eventsInteracts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary informationUp sells other resort services and amenities to guestsFamiliarizes him/herself with all menusAttends mandatory monthly department meetings and appropriate resort and division meetingsAnswers questions and/or makes recommendations on menu itemsPerforms food preparation duties such as bread & butter set-ups, condiment preparation, filling water & ice tea pitchers and any other prep as neededVerifies the table positions are correct; and the floor around the tables is clean and free of debrisAssists servers with monitoring tables for customer satisfaction, quality and additional serviceAddresses any guest issue promptly and with concernProvides assistance to resort staff as neededMaintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.
e.
broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons).
Reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisorActs with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipmentRemains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all timesExperience and Education:
High school education or equivalent requiredPrior food and beverage experience preferredAt least six months customer service experience preferredJob Requirements:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
