Summary:
As an Overnight Henrietta's Barista, you will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, crafting high-quality coffee beverages and serving food items as requested.
You will have the ability to go above and beyond to create memorable experiences for our guests at La Cantera Resort & Spa.

Essential Functions:
Enthusiastically welcome our guests into the restaurantEnters orders accurately into POS systemsPerforms food & beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee and ensuring work stations are stockedMixes ingredients to prepare coffee and other beverages according to recipeChecks identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase/consumptionOffers creative selling of products to guestsShare your knowledge and recommendations of the food & beverage menus to our guestsProvides general resort information for guestsUtilize the freedom to go beyond and take initiative to resolve guest complaints and create loyaltyCreate memorable experiences with your welcoming personality by genuinely relating to guests and associatesCommunicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requestsMulti-task with an impeccable eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiencyOther duties as assignedExperience and Education:
High school education or equivalent preferredAt least one year Barista experience preferredAt least one year of hospitality experience preferredAt least six months experience with POS systems preferredAt least one year of customer service experience requiredJob Requirements:
Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permitMust be at least 18 years of age Must be able to work well under pressureMust be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written Must be highly detailed orientated Must be able to work in a fast paced environment Must have excellent listening skills Must possesses excellent communication skills Must be professional in appearance and demeanor Must always ensure a teamwork environment Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests and associates Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guestsWorking Conditions:
Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking and stair climbing.
Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs; Must be able to bend, squat, push and pull frequently; Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, squeezing, overhead reaching and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently.
