This horn has been disassembled and cleaned. Inspected for repairs and reassembled. Playtested to determine quality by experienced hornist. Leadpipe resanitized after playtest. Technical: The rotors show a very good level of tightness within their casings and rotate smoothly. The valve slides show a very good level of tightness within their casings and slide smoothly. Compression good. The horn shows light denting throughout horn with light scuffs and scratches. Lacquer wear is light throughout horn. Bracing is secure. Slight bend on leadpipe not affecting play. Playtest: The horn produces a semi-bright tone. Centering on the horn is very good throughout range. Horn requires good hand/bell technique. F to Bb is good to very good. Horn comes with hardcase in good condition. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding the horn or hardcase.
